This wil be an opportunity to hear about the care they provide for families and about their planned expansion and improvement of their services.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Despite being hit by the financial crisis and the collapse of the Icelandic banking system, the construction work on \u201cJack&#8217;s Place\u201d, the hospice for teenagers and young people,\u00a0is nearly\u00a0finished. Naomi House are looking forward to opening the new hospice next year, making it the fourth hospice of its kind in the country.<\/p>\n<p>If any General Members would like to join us that evening, please contact Shirley Kenneally.\u00a0We normally meet at the home of one of our Committee Members so if you do wish to come along, we do need to know in advance.\u00a0We can then tell you where it is to be held.<\/p>\n<p>Naomi House will be opening its doors on the weekend of 18 \u2013 20 September 2009 to the public where people can take a tour of all the facilities including jacksplace.
