The cream tea format offering luscious home-made cream scones with plump strawberries has proved popular (some years better than others). It has offered a friendly environment in which to listen to a guest speaker and exchange news between parents and Executive Members. We are always very pleased to meet the families who we’ve helped over the past year, especially when we see for ourselves how well some little ones have progressed after their SDR operations.

At our June 2013 AGM, Magdi Kovacs, a Senior Conductor at The Rainbow Centre spoke about how it provides Conductive Education for adults or children with neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, strokes or head injury. She was very informative and answered lots of questions.
