This is always an important item in any home and more so when there is a child with a disability.     So it was, having enquired about help for an aid which the school had after all provided, we learned of the problem the mother was having with her well worn washing machine. With the necessary information about model, cost, etc. on our application form we were able to meet the cost and hopefully she now has a clean son and she a happy mother.

“The St Barnabas Church Hall was ideal for this year’s AGM.   Although we would have liked to have seen more General Members, it was nevertheless an enjoyable day.  Our Cream Tea was as popular as ever thanks to our gallant cake making volunteer Helen Stevens – her scones, cupcakes and chocolate brownies were enjoyed by us all. In memory of his brother, Ben, who died at the age of 19 two years ago, Ollie Wade, 18, has composed and released his first-ever single called ‘Free’.
